Craft and Hobby Show in Chicago
In January I had the honor to represent Baby Lock at the Craft and Hobby Association CHA show in Anaheim California. CHA held another large Craft Super Show in Chicago last month. I again, had the honor to represent Baby Lock Sewing Machine along with the National Sewing Council (NSC).
I developed a new technique for creating a bubble skirt and I spent two intense days teaching non- stop to anyone who wanted to make this design (and it was FREE) Some amazing companies donated the fabric and notions as well as Baby Lock supplying the machines that everyone learned on. We used the Grace machine and I heard so many wonderful comments from new sewers about this lovely machine. I really enjoyed the younger kiddos that were able to sew and complete a fashionable project for their first sewing experience.
This project will be featured soon in various media for your enjoyment.
